This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release a person, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the government office that holds the record or custody information directly.
Official Spokane County Routes
Choose the office by the record needed. The County Public Records Office handles general county public-record requests, while Sheriff reports and CAD printouts have their own portal route. Detention Services can address jail operations, but a detailed individual jail record has additional confidentiality limits under RCW 70.48.100.

For Sheriff reports or CAD printouts, use the County's Sheriff Public Disclosure Portal. The Sheriff disclosure-information line is 509-477-6918. For specific inmate information, the County Jail Records instruction says a signed inmate waiver or judge-signed court order and valid identification are required. A fee does not make a confidential jail record or photo publicly available.
- For current county custody, the Spokane County custody and records overview explains how to use the Detention Services roster and its Recent Bookings and Recent Releases views.
- For an unsealed county case, use the Spokane County Court Viewer. It is a reference tool for case and hearing information, while the court of record remains controlling.
- For a person currently incarcerated by Washington DOC, use the DOC incarcerated-person search. It does not replace a Spokane County booking inquiry.
- For federal incarceration or qualifying ICE custody, use the separate BOP Inmate Locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator rather than the county roster.
- For a City of Spokane, Spokane Valley, or Cheney police report, request the record from the originating city or county route described on the relevant city page.
